Blyksniai – video art screenings in Lithuanian regions

Screening series “Blyksniai” (Lithuanian – Flashes)  is a series of events, representing Lithuanian video art by both well-known and rising new artists.

Video art is a fairly niche art, rarely showcased outside of the capital. As a result the idea was born to travel across Lithuania with events where the viewers are introduced into video art by showcasing a rich program of various genres and topics.

“Blyksniai” has already visited six Lithuanian towns: Šilutė, Kražiai, Kelmė, Jurbarkas, Tauragė and Kaunas.

The project is partially funded by the Lithuanian council for culture.
