Sonic Vilnius

Sonic Vilnius is a series of soundwalks around Vilnius city.

Vilnius city audio exploration workshop aims to introduce this contemporary research practice of soundwalking and to actualize the importance of artistic expression of audio recording and related processes in the context of the general Lithuanian art scene. Sonic Vilnius hopes to spread the popularity of creating and participating in moving environmental sound narratives, educating the project participants in the fields of separating audio layers of human hearing, documenting, processing and application methods, encouraging the creative potential that the practice of moving through space at a walking pace, listening and sometimes recording provides.
