Susikirtimai

“Susikirtimai” is a series of sound art and experimental music performances, aimed towards residents of Lithuanian regions, who are interested in culture and new aesthetic experiences. Project aims to introduce the listener to audio art, experimental music and experiential art.

A series of lectures and workshops had the audiences creating modular synthesizers, introduced them to audio art, its history, invited people to experiment with sounds and to participate in the contemporary approach to explore space through soundwalking. During the length of the project, an audio and light installation, created by combined effort of professional sound technology specialists and Lithuanian artists from various fields: sculpting, music and visual arts.

The project also presented various experimental music creators from over 10 countries: Australia, Japan, Peru, France, Finland, Norway, The Netherlands, Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania etc.
